Luhansk Power Association (LPA) engineers received equipment valued at UAH 3 mln from USAID.

In a statement, USAID said that “the equipment would ensure the uninterrupted energy supply of strategic and critical infrastructure facilities on the demarcation line in eastern Ukraine, which contributes to strengthening Ukraine’s energy security.” In addition to this, the equipment will allow collecting and processing data automatically, detect possible theft of electricity and reduce the risk of staff travel to areas located in the area of attack by illegal armed groups.
