Ukraine anticipates a logistics investment project worth more than $500M.

Kyiv commissioned 23,400 sq m of warehouse capacity this year, and another 205,000 sq m will be added.

The capital’s warehouse real estate market expanded by 23,400 square meters in January-June 2024 after the launch of the first phase of the Dudarkiv logistics complex, reported CBRE. In the second half of the year and in 2025, 205,000 sq m are expected to be commissioned. Thus, this year Kyiv’s warehouse space increased by 1.8% to 1.32 million square meters. Half of the area of the Dudarkiv complex is pre-leased.

It is noted that despite all the economic and security challenges, the warehouse real estate market is experiencing a steady recovery, though not without sensitivity to the dynamics of military operations. The war and its aftermath remain the main factors influencing rental and investment activity. In the first half of 2024, the impact from price increases for energy and raw materials, currency fluctuations, and a permanent shortage of skilled labor was particularly noticeable.
