Kherson Airport will receive the first flight.

After reconstruction of a runway, Kherson International Airport will receive its first flight in March 2022, reported open4business. The rebuilding of the runaway is 95% ready, and the installation of modern lighting and navigation equipment is starting soon. The airport used to receive four to five flights daily; however, after work completion, it will increase the capacity to 10-15 flights, including high-capacity aircraft of the 4D category. As a result, it is estimated that the passenger traffic will increase to 500,000 passengers per year, and the airport will open new air routes.
