Sending EU troops to the territory of Ukraine was never on the agenda. This is not planned because the EU is not a party to the conflict, said the head of the European diplomacy, Josep Borrell. At the same time, he emphasized that aid to Kyiv does not have an expiration date and that the EU is interested in ensuring that Russian Federation dictator Vladimir Putin does not capture Ukraine’s sovereignty. Borrell drew attention to the fact that the European military participates in training missions with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, particularly the Ukrainian crews of Western tanks. It’s not like learning to drive a car, and it requires weeks of very specialized training, an EU diplomat noted.
