Last year, Ukraine processed 82.46 thousand tons of grapes (8.5% more than in 2020), from which 5.81M decalitres of wine materials were produced (a 2.3% increase). 1.87M decalitres of wine materials were produced to produce champagne and sparkling wines (37.7% more than in 2020), 211.82 thousand decalitres to produce cognac (8.2% decrease), for production of table wines – 3.09 M decalitres (a 13.7% decrease), and to produce fortified wines – 614.76 thousand decalitres (a 32.3% increase).
