In November, assets of bankrupt banks were sold in Ukraine for ₴49.4M.

The Ukraine banking system continues to increase its liquidity and profitability.

Last month, Ukraine held 37 auctions to sell the assets of eight banks that were liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund. The winning bids from successful auctions amounted to almost ₴49.4M ($1.35M).

And more than 70% of the amount, ₴36.3M, resulted from selling real estate objects that were on the balance sheets of liquidated banks. These include the assets of Prominvestbank, which sold for ₴18.7M, Megabank for ₴12.5M, Land Capital for ₴10.2M, Ibox Bank for ₴7.7M, MR Bank, Bank Sich, Capital, Zlatobank for ₴0.3M.

This week, the Deposit Guarantee Fund is selling the assets of nine banks. The initial sale price of all lots is ₴868.6M ($23.7M).
