According to research by GT Partners Ukraine, the network of the largest Ukrainian food retailer, ATB, increased by 2.2% in half a year. The retailer opened 10 stores, and the sales outlets increased to 1,187.

Fozzy Group is in second place among retailers by the number of stores. The group’s network grew by 2.5% to 709 stores. In the first six months of the year, the company opened 17 stores.

However, regional players turned out to be the most agile. The retailer Clever Stores from Lutsk has the highest network growth rate (16.2%). The company opened 28 stores under the Sim23 and Simi brands. Now, their network has increased to 194 stores.

Two more retailers with the same number of stores (156) are the regional chain, Fayno Market, from Kropyvnytskyi and Delvi from Kyiv. The pace of development for Fayno Market was twice as high as that of Delva – 12.2% versus 5.4%. The first retailer opened 17 stores, and the second – 13.

The largest number of new stores opened in the west of Ukraine – about 34.9%.
