The European Commission has expanded the list of goods subject to an import ban to Poland from Ukraine, adding sunflower oil. However, the transit of these products will be allowed.
Polish Minister of Agriculture Robert Telus said that the country will not abandon its embargo on Ukrainian imports until Polish demands are met. He also promised that Poland would demand a ban on the import of flour, honey, sugar, frozen fruit, eggs, meat (especially poultry), milk, dairy products, apple juice, and concentrate.
The Swedish Minister of Agriculture, Peter Kullgren, said after the EU Council of Ministers on Agriculture in Luxembourg that the issue of importing Ukrainian agricultural products should be resolved in solidarity with Ukraine.
Moreover, Hungary banned the import of 25 types of Ukrainian farm products until July 1, allowing transit under increased control conditions.
