German special services have analyzed the military threat from Russia, which predicts that “from 2026,” it may attack a member state of the North Atlantic Alliance. In particular, the Baltic states and Finland are under threat.
The reorganization of the Russian army indicates Russia’s preparation for a large-scale conflict with the West, such as the movement of troops, the placement of missiles in the country’s west, and the increase in Russian arms production. Therefore, Russia will double its military power over the next five years.
Meanwhile, Finland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen, believes that Western countries, including the US, should not rule out sending troops to Ukraine if the situation worsens.
“But we are not sending any troops to Ukraine now, and we do not want to discuss it,” added Valtonen.
In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister of Italy, Antonio Tajani, sharply rejected introducing Western troops into Ukraine for fear of starting a third world war.
