Germany announced the urgent transfer of one additional Patriot air defense system to Ukraine.

In addition, Norway received permission from the US to transfer 22 F-16 aircraft to Ukraine, along with the necessary maintenance equipment. The discussion concerns a batch of 65 fighter jets jointly supplied by Denmark, Norway, and the Netherlands with Washington’s permission.

However, Norway currently has only 12 combat-ready fighters; the status of the remaining 10 is unknown. Aircraft that are not functioning are planned to be disassembled for spare parts.

Also, British Defense Minister Grant Shapps suggested that in a few years, samples of the latest DragonFire laser weapons (LDEW), which the country is developing, could be provided to Ukraine to strengthen its air defense. The DragonFire military lasers will be put into production five years earlier than planned – in 2027.

And the Netherlands, in addition to the already agreed €2B, allocated another €1B for military aid to Ukraine and €400M for reconstruction. And next year, the country will allocate another €3B in defense support.
