Germany has taken a step towards Nord Stream-2 certification,

announced DW. The German Ministry of Economy announced that it had completed an analysis of the reliability of gas supplies on Nord Stream-2 and passed its results to the Federal Office of Networks (Bundesnetzagentur). The Ministry of Economy has concluded that the certification of the new gas pipeline does not pose a threat to the security of gas supply to Germany and the EU. Prior to the decision, the agency consulted with other EU members Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
