The German engineering company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann has begun production of Boxer RCH-155 self-propelled artillery guns for Ukraine, the company’s advisor Nicholas Drummond said. In December 2022, the German government officially confirmed that it was preparing 18 units of the latest RCH-155 wheeled installation for Ukraine. In July 2022, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, made a corresponding request to Germany. A crew of 2 people operates the installation, and the ammunition consists of 30 shells. The manufacturer claims the firing range is 40 km and 52 km with V-LAP projectiles.
