The countries are getting closer to concluding a corresponding agreement, informed the German ambassador in Warsaw, Thomas Bagger. He said the negotiations on this topic will be completed before the NATO summit in Vilnius on July 11-12.

This station will be used to supply badly needed spare parts for equipment assembled in Germany. The day before, Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz announced these negotiations’ quick, successful conclusion.

Bloomberg notes that similar centers have already been launched in Slovakia and Romania. In April, it was reported that the German concern Rheinmetall AG was creating a similar facility in Romania near the settlement of Satu Mare on the Romanian-Ukrainian border. Leopard 2 and Challenger tanks, self-propelled howitzers, IFVs, armored personnel carriers, and military trucks can be serviced at this facility.
