Gas transit growth through Ukraine lowered gas prices in Europe.

EU countries will build new gas pipelines to eliminate Russian gas dependence.

According to Interfax, gas prices in Europe fell below $900 per thousand cubic meters amid rising Gazprom gas supplies through the Ukrainian. On Tuesday, the nearest (March) futures on TTF on the ICE Futures fell to $898 per thousand cubic meters. The main reason is the increase in the pumping of Russian gas through the Ukrainian corridor from 54 million cubic meters to 107.7 million, which is close to the reservation value under a long-term contract (109 million cubic meters).
