By 2021, Nibulon, the largest user of river transport in Ukraine, wants to move 4 million tons of grain by river – the equivalent of 100,000 truck trips. Dutch companies want to participate in the rebuilding Soviet-era river locks on the Dnipro, once the Mississippi of Ukraine.
