EU may ban the export of cars worth over €50,000 to Russia.

Within the new package of sanctions, the European Union is considering a ban on exports of vehicles worth more than 50,000 to Russia, reported Bloomberg. “The proposed ban would apply to models of several European car brands, including Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, and Porsche,” the media outlet notes. The measure would also affect boats, airplanes, chairlifts, and motorcycles worth more than 5,000. In addition, the new EU sanctions will include eliminating Russia’s Most Assistance Country status, measures against the Russian elite, and restricting access to crypto assets.
