Egg production in Ukraine decreased by 13%.

In 2021, egg production in Ukraine decreased by 13.0% compared to 2020, to 14.06B eggs, announced ukrstat.gov. Agricultural enterprises delivered 6.98B eggs (21.7% less), households – 7.08B (2.4% less). The largest number of eggs during this period was produced in the Kyiv region – 3.30B (4.2% less than in 2020), in second place – Cherkasy 753.3M, 6.0% less), in third – the Khmelnytskyi region (726.0 M, 25.4% less).
