Even with the illegal occupations in Crimea and eastern Ukraine, cross-border investors are illustrating their confidence in Ukraine. The emerging IT sector is booming, along with the agricultural sector as it breaks harvest records almost every year. With confidence in the Ukrainian market growing, investors are diversifying their investment into new sectors including wind projects, which are supported by government programs to improve and upgrade infrastructure. The big construction program that was launched by President Zelensky in the fall of 2019 has seen the allocation of record amounts of budgetary funds on the improvement of roads, bridges, seaports, and airports throughout the country. Making Ukraine an emerging market where is becoming one of the most attractive European countries to do business in today.
