Presidents and Biden are due to meet today in Washington and the outcome is eagerly awaited. Hungary’s agreement with Russia on the supply of gas bypassing Ukraine via the Russian-Turkish South Stream pipeline has again exposed Ukraine’s insecurity in the energy sphere. Biden’s supportive response is all the more critical.
