Getting the Pfizer vaccine at Boryspil Airport turned into a 3-hour ordeal for my wife and me that I would not wish on anyone. Despite Ukraine’s vaunted IT capabilities, it took the attendants 10-20 minutes to input each candidate. At the vaccination center in Ukraine’s busiest international airport, the arrival of two bona fide foreigners almost caused a computer meltdown. With TV cameras hovering, the attendants asked people to wait outside — so the 3-hour wait would not look like a 3-hour wait. Good news: the train-to-the-plane works like clockwork and the highway renovation project is almost complete. With Best Regards Jim Brooke
