Ukrainian government bonds are a very attractive investment. Not just for external investors, but Ukrainians investing in domestic securities. On average US government bonds have yields 1%-2%, whereas Ukraine Government bonds have yields of 11%-12%. Even the largest US companies’ stocks do not perform as well as Ukraine bonds, however, there is way more risk associated with these extremely attractive investments.
