US President Joe Biden will hold meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the Vilnius NATO summit on July 11-12. The meeting with Zelenskyy is scheduled for July 12.
Politico notes that the American leader will try to convince the Ukrainian president that removing several bureaucratic obstacles and reforms in addition to significant security commitments from the US and other NATO representatives is the most that Ukraine can get now in Vilnius.
Jake Sullivan, the US President’s national security advisor, confirmed the information regarding the meeting between Biden and Zelenskyy in Vilnius on July 12.
