Due to the war, the lack of specific revenues in the state budget for January-June 2022 amounted to at least UAH 176B, with UAH 104B due to a reduction in imports, GDP, profits of enterprises, and employment. Moreover, due to changes to the tax and customs legislation necessary for operating enterprises in wartime conditions, an additional UAH 72B did not reach the state budget. Therefore, according to the results of the year’s first half, the planned revenue generation for the state budget’s general fund underachieved by UAH 28B, or 4.7%. Under these circumstances, the tax debt of economic entities (excluding customs payments) increased by UAH 23B or 28%.
