In 2022, Ukraine lost up to 10 million tons of potential harvest due to the occupation of its agricultural territories. According to a Ministry of Agriculture assessment, about 10 million tons could be harvested from these areas in the occupied territories. As Vysotsky further noted, this harvest now has a different fate: in some areas it is stolen, in some it is burned. According to  satellite information, it is known that the occupiers have stolen or damaged 500,000 tons of grain. The final loss calculation  can only take place after the liberation of these territories.
