Andriy Yusov, the spokesman of the State Administration of Ukraine, noted that the Russians use Crimea as a large logistics hub. From there, enemy personnel and equipment are moved deep into Ukrainian territory. “Any problems with logistics are difficulties for the enemy, which can create potential advantages for the Armed Forces,” Yusov emphasized.
The Crimean Bridge’s collapse resulted from a special operation by the SBU and the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Two boat drones attacked the bridge at around 3 a.m., damaging part of the bridge structure.
George Barros, an analyst at the Institute for the Study of War, rejected the version about provocations by the Russian Federation. He explained that without the Crimea bridge, there is only one land supply line: the coastal highway along the Sea of Azov. This is why the significance of the Crimean Bridge is too valuable for the Russians to sacrifice it.
