agricultural exports in Ukraine

Last year, Ukraine exported $23.4B worth of farm food products, 16% less than in 2021. However, this indicator is the second largest in the independent history of Ukraine, despite the full-scale war. The total revenue from the export of meat and dairy products, potatoes, and frozen vegetables has increased. However, exporters’ income for the vast majority of fruit and vegetable products, eggs, honey, processed grain products, and various confectionery products decreased. At the same time, export prices for Ukrainian-made goods, especially honey and eggs, continue to rise. Last year, the EU’s role in selling many types of Ukrainian food products increased significantly. Thus, more than 80% of the income of Ukrainian exporters of fruit and berry products and honey was obtained from EU sales.
