Denmark will build social housing in Ukraine according to its standards.

Housing purchases through mortgages can comprise 45% of Ukraine's primary market.

Denmark created the Ukrainian Housing for All fund to develop and implement affordable rental housing in Ukraine based on the Danish model. It is planned to implement three pilot projects in cities that have suffered the consequences of Russian aggression.

The fund plans to build sustainable, affordable, easy-to-maintain, and energy-efficient homes. The project involves not only the construction of new homes but also the creation of a particular economic model that will allow the use of rental income to expand affordable housing.

Work has already begun in the Mykolaiv region. The first pilot projects adapted to Ukrainian conditions will be developed here.

Note that Danish social housing is called alment boligbyggeri. It is either owned by the state or owned and managed by self-governing non-profit organizations. It is divided into types: young people, students, or families with children. Apartments in such buildings are rented out for a low and stable fee, and no one has the right to profit from them.
