The country will provide their most extensive aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the amount of 1.7B Danish kroner, the Danish Ministry of Defense reported.

“The equipment in the aid package is important to pave the way for Ukrainian tanks and armored infantry,” remarked the Minister  for Economic Affairs, Troels Lund Poulsen.

The package consists of transport and material means, air defense equipment, and ammunition to strengthen Ukraine’s ability to conduct an offensive in the coming months. In particular, it includes armored repair, evacuation and engineering vehicles, vehicles for river crossing construction, vehicles for demining, and financing for the purchase of anti-aircraft defense.

€50M will be used to support NATO with non-lethal equipment for Ukraine and ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher.
