Denmark has allocated a new military aid package for Ukraine, from which DKK 200 million ($28.5 million) will be directed to support Ukrainian weapon manufacturers. Almost another DKK two billion ($285M) has been allocated to purchase ammunition, drones, and missile components in cooperation with the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, as well as for strengthening the maritime component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Denmark’s support of Ukraine’s defense and industrial complex is an important contribution not only to our stability on the battlefield but also to our economy,” noted Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko after a working visit to Denmark.
In addition, Denmark expanded its financing of the Danish Export Investment Fund by DKK 300M ($42.8M). The fund supports Danish exporters, as well as providing financial instruments for Ukrainian companies with Danish suppliers and Danish companies ready to invest in Ukraine.
