Demining work is being performed in seven regions of Ukraine.

 As of April 12, 168 settlements in the Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions have been demined, said Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko. According to him, 38% of settlements in these regions have already activated local governments. The repair work, which was started in many settlements, should be completed within 6 to 8 weeks. The construction of housing for temporarily displaced people will begin soon. According to Tymoshenko, 66,000 damaged or destroyed property applications have already been registered in “Diia.”
