Defenders of Mariupol said that the Azovstal Plant was destroyed.

The Azov Regiment said that heavy bombs destroyed the Mariupol Azovstal metallurgical plant, and many people remain in its rubble, as stated by Deputy Commander of the Azov Regiment Svyatoslav Palamar. At the same time, the deputy head of the group stressed that the defenders of Mariupol would fight using every remaining bullet, but called on the Government to save wounded civilians and take the bodies of the dead. Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine released an audio interception of a conversation in which the Russian military spoke about the order from leadership to “level the ground” of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.
