The direct damage caused by Russia to Ukrainian infrastructure, industrial facilities, and production logistics has increased to almost $50B, said the director of the Government Office for Attracting and Supporting Investments UkraineInvest, Serhiy Tsivkach. He specified that approximately 22.5% of warehouses have sustained damage during the war.
Tsivkach is convinced that the state should contribute substantially to businesses’ recovery efforts because Ukraine hopes for rapid post-war economic development. And the production sector, among other things, needs high-quality, modern logistics infrastructure.
At the same time, UkraineInvest hopes not only to rebuild what was destroyed but also to start new investment projects in these areas.
