Construction costs are increasing twice as fast as inflation, up by 19.5% in June,

compared to June 2020, reports the State Statistics Service. Since the start of the year, prices for construction and installation are up by 15%. The biggest increase is for engineering – up 25.5%. Last year, construction costs increased by only 3.7% over 2019.
