Canada will provide $3M to Ukraine for defense reform.

Canada will provide CAD 3.85M ($3M) to two projects designed to reform Ukraine’s defense sector, the Canadian government reported. About CAD 2.9M ($2.2M) will go to the Canadian-Ukrainian police development project. It has already been implemented in Ukraine for several years and provides targeted support to the National Police, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the State Emergency Service, including necessary equipment. Canada will allocate another CAD 950,000 ($730,000) to reform the Ministry of Defense.
