Canada will offer a loan of up to CAD 500M ($393M) to support Ukraine, which is bracing for a possible Russian invasion, and said it would provide CAD 7.8M worth of lethal equipment and ammunition, reported Reuters. Ukraine will receive machine guns, pistols, carbines, 1.5 million rounds of ammunition, sniper rifles, and other equipment. “The purpose of this support from Canada and our other partners is to keep Russia from aggression against Ukraine,” said Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.
