Meanwhile, Axios reported that the Pentagon plans to transfer to Israel tens of thousands of 155-mm artillery shells from the US special reserves, which were prepared for shipment to Ukraine a few months ago. These munitions were part of the American arsenal, stored in Israel as part of an agreement between the countries.
According to the publication, only US military personnel can access weapons storage facilities. Still, according to the agreement between the countries, Israel can use the ammunition in a war scenario with the US’ permission.
