Looking at station candidates for concessions — Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnitsky, and Chop – Krikliy said his turnaround model is Vienna’s new Main Station. With a 20,000-square-meter shopping center below the tracks, Wien Hauptbahnhof on some days attracts more people to shop and dine than to travel.
