Britain and France seek to deprive Russia of victory and discuss increasing the supply of ammunition and drones to Ukraine.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed over the phone priorities for the coming months, including increasing the supply of ammunition, drones, and air defense equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that both leaders are looking forward to the upcoming meeting of the European Political Community, which will be held in Britain on July 18, 2024. The British Prime Minister and the French President pledged to work together to hold a successful summit that will address many common European priorities, including the defense of Ukraine.

In turn, the newly appointed Acting Minister of Defense of Bulgaria, Atanas Zapryanov, emphasized the urgency of accelerating the provision of two military aid packages to Ukraine.

Also, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, hopes that the meeting of the G7 foreign ministers on April 19 will clarify which countries can provide Ukraine with additional air defense equipment.
