On June 16, the Council of Ministers of Belgium approved the 15th aid package for Ukraine. The country will supply Ukrainian forces with M113 tracked, armored personnel carriers.
The Swedish government also decided to provide a new aid package, including SEK 230M and the supply of military equipment. The Swedish armed forces will train Ukrainian pilots and aviation personnel with the JAS 39. The total cost of the package is SEK 250M.
Also, Madrid is providing Kyiv with 20 armored personnel carriers, a field hospital, and four Leopard 2.
In addition, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg claims that the NATO allies have promised to increase support to Ukraine by €500M. He added that the Alliance is working on a significant multi-year Ukrainian support package.
After the Ramstein summit, Germany decided to provide Ukraine with 64 guided missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
