Astarta invests $60M in the construction of a soybean processing plant.

Astarta Agroholding, the largest sugar producer in Ukraine, received a $60M loan from state-owned Oschadbank to construct a soybean processing plant in the Poltava region. It is clarified that the credit line was granted to the agricultural holding for seven years.

Investment in the construction of the plant will be distributed over three years – the current year and the next two. The holding plans to finance the project mainly through free cash flow. The new plant is expected to produce up to 100,000 tons of concentrated soy protein annually.
