In 2021, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) paid UAH 14.6B ($521M) in taxes and fees to all levels of the budget, which is 2.3 times more than the total amount of tax payments for 2020 (UAH 6.4B). It is noted that out of the amount of taxes and fees paid, UAH 7.2B went to the state budget and UAH 1.9B to local budgets. In 2021, income tax payments (+ UAH 5.5B) and rents for iron ore mining (+ UAH 513M) increased the most. During the year, the company doubled wages and paid basic and additional bonuses to all employees, reported the company’s press service.
