An anonymous person has transferred $1M to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

An anonymous donor from the United States transferred $1M to a special account opened by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), said Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova. According to the NBU, Ukrainians and foreigners have transferred more than the equivalent of UAH 10.1B to the special account, including the equivalent of UAH 2.9B in donations made in foreign currencies, the regulator said on its website on Sunday. The National Bank clarified that the money has come from the United States, Great Britain, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, China, France, and Canada.
