Ukraine has a good chance of attracting investment from the US and other developed countries. These processes have already begun and are actively continuing, said Vladyslav Belbas, general director of Ukrainian Armored Vehicles, during the Economic and Security Forum in Kyiv.
Belbas added that American businesses are already conducting an in-depth analysis of companies and the Ukrainian market, indicating the inevitable process of their entry. At the same time, as the general director specified, companies from Germany that are already organizing joint ventures are now at the forefront of cooperation with the Ukrainian Defense Industry.
According to Belbas, Ukraine needs to work on information protection, particularly removing data about executors of defense orders from open access. In addition, arms exports abroad should be liberalized because this will improve the economic situation and stimulate domestic production.
Deputy Chairman of the National Association of Ukrainian Defense Industries, Serhii Vysotsky, believes that American venture capital and small defense companies are ready to invest in Ukrainian production and technological bases.
