International investors have spent more than $315 million buying Ukraine’s government bonds last week,
the largest amount in almost two years. ICU writes of last week’s auction: “It appears that foreigners purchased more than half of last week’s issuance in local currency.” Foreigners now hold over UAH 100 billion in T-bills and appear to be on track to match the February 2020 peak.
