Over the March 22-24 weekend, Russia carried out one of its largest attacks on Ukraine.
In their attack on Ukraine, Russia launched 151 separate aerial weapons with a total cost of $677M. Ukraine’s defenses destroyed 55 drones and 37 missiles. As a result of the attack, energy facilities and gas transmission networks belonging to both state and private companies were damaged, and emergency power cuts were introduced in eight regions. The Russians attacked Ukraine’s largest hydroelectric plant – DniproHPP in Zaporizhzhia, hitting it with eight missiles. As a result, Ukrhydroenergo lost 20% of its capacity.
