DAI Global LLC signed a subcontract with engineering company Miyamoto International to improve transport and logistics infrastructure and modernize road crossing points on Ukraine’s border. The company has 128 engineers working in its representative office in Ukraine.

Within the framework of the signed subcontract, the Miyamoto Ukraine company will perform a physical-economic and technical-economic feasibility study, prepare preliminary documentation for the design of new cargo terminals at checkpoints, and provide post-project services at nine priority checkpoints that will be improved within the framework of the USAID project.

At the same time, the UK government’s Export Credit Guarantee Department is providing a loan guarantee of €31M for the reconstruction of six bridges destroyed by the Russians. UK manufacturing companies will supply 20% of the metal structures. Work is underway on three bridges, and it is planned to open them to traffic by the end of 2023. Work will begin on three more structures in 2024.
