Wind turbines for electric power with clean and Renewable Energy

The DTEK Group plans to construct the Tyligulska Wind Power Plant in 2025. DTEK and the Danish company Vestas signed a memorandum on the completion of the construction of the largest wind power plant in Eastern Europe – a project supported by the EC and the governments of both Ukraine and Denmark. The Tyligulska wind farm’s capacity will be 500 MW, and the project’s total investment will exceed €650M.

The memorandum provides that Vestas will supply wind turbines to Ukraine. DTEK is ready to begin construction of the second phase of the wind farm in the 2nd quarter of 2024 and finish construction at the end of 2025. The installed wind turbines gradual connection to the network is expected by the end of 2024.

It is noted that the second stage of the wind farm will consist of 64 wind turbines (6 MW each) with a total capacity of 384 MW. The station will be able to produce about 1.7 TWh of electricity every year.
