As reported by the Kalush city council, the Aquaizol company relocated to Kalush from Kharkiv in the first weeks following the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion into Ukraine. 70 wagons of production equipment were first unloaded in warehouses, which were then used to build a new factory on an area of 10,000 square meters.
It is noted that the relocated company will launch the factory’s first line, which will produce roofing and waterproofing materials, in April and the second production line at the end of May. About 100 jobs will be created at the new production facility.
Since the beginning of the war, about 50 enterprises have moved to the Ivano-Frankivsk region under the relocation program.
The roofing materials factory, Aquaizol, has passed European certification and produces construction materials in accordance with European standards. The company’s production is primarily aimed at the foreign market.
