A relocated enterprise begins production of wind turbines in Transcarpathia, and DTEK is preparing to construct the second stage of the Tyligulska wind farm.

Ukrainian and Czech companies jointly launch a €75M wind farm, western Ukraine's largest.

The Friendly Wind Technology company announced its readiness to start production line operation to manufacture wind turbines. The company plans to produce up to 20 wind turbines with a unit capacity of 4.8 to 5.5 MW per year.

It is noted that Friendly Wind Technologies is currently the only national manufacturer of wind energy installations in the multi-megawatt class. The company started its activities in Transcarpathia after the forced relocation of its production capacities of the Wind Parks of Ukraine group of companies from Kramatorsk after the start of the war in 2022.

In 2023, the company began constructing its first wind farm in the Zakarpattia region with a total capacity of about 80 MW. The company’s project package currently provides for constructing at least 500 MW of capacity.

In turn, DTEK announced preparations to build the second phase of the Tyligulska wind power plant in the Mykolaiv region, 100 kilometers from the front line. After completion of the work, the wind farm will have a capacity of 500 MW.
