Viktoria Pazychuk, a plant manager at Kromberg & Schubert Ukraine, stated that by 2025 the company will be the largest employer in the region. Currently, it employs 5,500 people in Volyn, with the total exceeding 6,000 including mobilized workers.
Pazychuk highlighted that over the past three years, since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian branch has doubled in size. Their success is largely due to the trust placed in them by their German clients, who maintained and expanded projects during the war. The company partners with about 450 Ukrainian firms, with last year’s turnover from Ukrainian suppliers reaching €12M and tax payments totaling €11M. The success of the Lutsk plant has led to further expansion, including a new facility in Zhytomyr.
Kromberg & Schubert has been operating in Ukraine since 2005, manufacturing electronic systems for major global car brands such as Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz. Despite the war, the company has plans for further expansion in the Ukrainian market.
